We’ve seen pimped-out boat transfers, Aussie road rage, the perennial idiot dog (owner), riders suffering through crash related pain (chapeau G and Ted), GC contenders smashing each other… and GC contenders crumbling. If you think about it, apart from the craziness of Corsica, these things happen almost every year. But by the time we get to the first rest day, the numbers often tell a very different story.
